Meet the Southmarch Staff
Dr. Amy Gane, DVM
Owner/Veterinarian
​
Dr. Gane, who was born in Loveland, built Southmarch Veterinary Hospital from the ground up. She holds undergraduate degrees in both biology and theology from Pacific Union College in Northern California, and completed her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Colorado State University in 1999. She has two beautiful Australian Shepherds, Zip and Silas who both love long hikes. And, when not riding horses all over Creation, she helps bring new baby horses into the world and enjoys teaching a variety of classes at her church.
Dr. Mary Ann Archer, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Archer graduated from Indiana University with a bachelors in biology, she then went to the Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine to get her doctorate. She loves her cat, Jasper, and enjoys taking care of her chickens. Some of her favorite pastimes include gardening and cooking delicious food.
Dr. Jeremy Marburger, DVM, MS
Veterinarian

Dr. Marburger started out at Midland Lutheran College in Nebraska, completing his degree in youth and family ministry in 2003. After a few years, he decided to pursue a masters in biomedical sciences with a concentration in assisted reproductive technologies at Colorado State University. He then went to Colorado State University again to get his doctorate in veterinary medicine. Dr. Marburger has a special interest in animal reproduction, with species of all shapes and sizes. He has a miniature goldendoodle named Chloe, loves photography and geocaching!
Megan Wilson
Lead Veterinary Technician

Megan originates from Colorado, and got her bachelors in equine science from Colorado State University. Megan has been with Southmarch for many years, and the clinic couldn't run without her! She loves her miniature heeler, Pistol, and her chocolate lab, Colt. She also has two beautiful quarter horses named Dazzle and Boots. Her favorite hobbies include competing in cowboy mounted shooting as well as hunting, and fishing.
Alayna Sheldon
Veterinary Technician

Alayna went to Casper College in Wyoming to get her associates in animal science while also playing volleyball. She then moved back to northern Colorado to complete a bachelors in animal science at CSU! She has a cute border collie named Kaia, two kittens named Eugene and Cleo, two quarter horses named Lucy and Dolly, plus an Arabian named Tyke. Her hobbies include hiking and backpacking with Kaia and camping with her friends and family.
Kaileigh Cate
Veterinary Assistant

Kaileigh recently graduated from Campion Academy, and has worked for Dr. Gane as a ranch hand for the past four years. She plans to potentially run for rodeo queen, and would like to eventually continue her education in Texas. In Kaileigh's free time, she enjoys competing in barrel racing, and has also gotten into roping on her horse, Houston! A few other activities she enjoys are four-wheeling and paddle boarding with her friends and her dog, Molly.
Arianne Sanders
Receptionist

Arianne is an essential part of our team as the lead receptionist. When she’s not at work, she loves spending time with all of her animals: Negan, a Doberman, Honey, a German Shepherd, Governor, a Labrador/Shepherd mix, Wren, a heeler mix and her two mini Dachshunds Nova and Luna. She also has six cats and two rats. When she’s not busy taking care of all of her animals, she loves spending time with her kids.
Tristan Smith
Veterinary Technician

Tristan first started with Southmarch in 2019 while also going to Aims Community College for her Associate's degree in animal science. She is now attending Colorado State University to get her Bachelor's in zoology with a minor in chemistry! Tristan has an adorable tabby cat named Remi, and a calico cat (pictured above) named Mako. She also has two hermit crabs and 13 fish! Some of her favorite activities include snowboarding, dirt biking, and Muay Thai Kickboxing.
