Meet the Southmarch Staff
Dr. Amy Gane, DVM
Owner/Veterinarian
​
Dr. Gane, who was born in Loveland, built Southmarch Veterinary Hospital from the ground up. She holds undergraduate degrees in both Biology and Theology from Pacific Union College in Northern California, and completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University in 1999. She has two beautiful Australian Shepherds, Zip and Silas who both love long hikes. And, when not riding horses all over Creation, she helps bring new baby horses into the world and enjoys teaching a variety of classes at her church.
Dr. Jeremy Marburger, DVM, MS
Veterinarian

Dr. Marburger started out at Midland Lutheran College in Nebraska, completing his degree in youth and family ministry in 2003. After a few years, he decided to pursue a Masters in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Assisted Reproductive Technologies at Colorado State University. He then went to Colorado State University again to get his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Marburger has a special interest in animal reproduction, with species of all shapes and sizes. He has a miniature goldendoodle named Chloe, loves photography and geocaching!
Megan Wilson
Lead Veterinary Technician

Megan originates from Colorado, and got her Bachelor's in Equine Science from Colorado State University. Megan has been with Southmarch for many years, and the clinic couldn't run without her! She loves her miniature heeler, Pistol, and her chocolate lab, Colt. She also has two beautiful quarter horses named Dazzle and Boots. Her favorite hobbies include competing in cowboy mounted shooting as well as hunting, and fishing.
Alayna Sheldon
Veterinary Technician

Alayna went to Casper College in Wyoming to get her Associates in Animal Science while also playing volleyball. She then moved back to northern Colorado to complete a Bachelor's in Animal Science at CSU! She has a cute border collie named Kaia, two cats named Eugene and Cleo, one quarter horse named Lucy, plus an Arabian named Tyke. Her hobbies include hiking and backpacking with Kaia and camping with her friends and family.
Arianne Sanders
Receptionist
​
Arianne is an essential part of our team as the lead receptionist. When she’s not at work, she loves spending time with all of her animals: Negan, a Doberman, Rascal, a French Bulldog, Governor, a Labrador/Shepherd mix, Wren, a heeler mix and her two mini Dachshunds Nova and Luna. She also has six cats and two rats. When she’s not busy taking care of all of her animals, she loves spending time with her kids.
Karli Rupp
Veterinary Assistant

Karli, originally from Castle Rock, is a recent graduate of CSU, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She aspires to begin veterinary school in the fall of 2025. In her free time, Karli loves traveling with her family, camping, and skiing. She enjoys spoiling her senior golden retriever, Gus, with plenty of treats and the biggest hugs.
